Company Milestones

For 17 years running, Cosmopoint and its group of colleges has been leading the charge in elevating the standards of local higher education in various areas of specialization.

Its wave of presence has left an indelible imprint in the psyche of the communities far and wide as the one of the initial authoritative IT training institutions around. In later years of formation, it was more highly regarded as a broad-based institution for professional and advanced courses as well as tertiary education.

From a fairly moderate setup to one that has grown and matured in a multitude of ways, today it is an epitome of professionalism and dynamism, possessing a "countenance" that bespeaks a stature as a leading education entity in the market.

Cosmopoint's application for the university college status was approved in 2006 by the Education Ministry and following this, it has taken on its newly-approved name, Kuala Lumpur Metropolitan University College (KLMU). Today its responsibility and operations extend to the centres it has rigorously set up in all the states of Malaysia, a testimony to the management's foresight, perseverance and longevity.

With a storehouse of stories and milestones under its belt, it continues with a certain measure of pizzazz, paving the way for many more Malaysians to achieve excellence in their chosen fields of vocation, helping them to attain their life-long ambitions and career goals.

With so much to share, the university college's history is a rich tapestry of achievements and accolades.
